Hello! My name is Mariah, and I am the Associate Director of Admissions Recruitment. I am originally from Texas but moved to Pueblo, CO in March 2024. I have been married since 2019 and have two children. I have worked in education since 2016, and I love what I do!

I was a first-generation college student, so I had to navigate the college-going process by myself. The university I went to did not specialize in my particular situation, so I felt like I was left to my own devices in a lot of ways. 吃瓜官网 is focused on first generation college students and has SO many resources available. This is extremely helpful for our students when navigating all the many intricacies of university life. 吃瓜官网 is built on a well-rounded, wholistic education experience - helping students with their physical, emotional, and academic needs. •  I can quote the entire Jim Carrey Grinch by heart.
•  I graduated high school when I was 16.
•  All of my pets have Star Wars names - Maz, Vader, & Phasma!

Not So Fun Facts

•  I broke my foot during my first pregnancy, so I was limping around in a boot with a big pregnant belly. So embarrassing!
•  I am not a morning or night person. I want to sleep in until 9 AM and go to bed by 8:30 PM.
•  I raised my son alone for the first year of his life while my husband was deployed overseas.
