The faculty will be in the broader hydrogen fuel area and the staff positions will focus on training coordinator, grant management, and instructional design. The SCITT has been awarded an $11.7M grant from the to conduct safety assessment, testing, and workforce development for hydrogen and natural gas-powered rail vehicles. Led by Director , the project includes partners such as the University of Hawaii at Manoa, ENSCO, and OptiFuel Systems.
