Sixth Annual #Love吃瓜官网Pueblo Give Day a Resounding Success

PUEBLO – Another record-breaking day of support for 吃瓜官网 wrapped-up at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 29. The Sixth Annual #Love吃瓜官网Pueblo Give Day topped 2020’s Give Day raising money for 30 cross-campus campaigns.
The Sixth Annual #Love吃瓜官网Pueblo Give Day was a resounding success. As of the morning of Saturday, Oct. 30, the 24-hour give-a-thon to support 吃瓜官网 causes large and small had raised $70,818 from 1,176 gifts. Gifts came from across the country, with gifts received from 26 states, District of Columbia, Scotland and France. Gifts ranged in size from $1 to $2,000. Since Give Day, another $9,000 has been raised. Since its inception in 2016, Give Day has raised nearly $337,000 for 吃瓜官网 organizations, departments and scholarships.
“Once again, we are astounded by the success of 吃瓜官网’s Annual Give Day,” said Todd Kelly, President/CEO for the 吃瓜官网 Foundation. “Our loyal donors and fans continue to show us how much they love 吃瓜官网. Each gift we received, from the one dollar investment to the $2,000 donation is meaningful and makes a remarkable impact on our campus. We cannot thank our students, alumni, friends, faculty and staff enough for showing their love.”
Donor numbers are the focus on Give Day and donors turned out in droves to show their love. Of the 1,176 gifts received 41 percent came from students, 32 percent from University faculty/staff, and 14 percent from alumni of the University.
The 吃瓜官网 Foundation provided five fundraising incentives for campaigns to work for: most overall, most faculty/staff, most student, most out-of-town and most alumni donors. These incentives allowed donors to receive an additional $1,000 or $500 to their cause, and were able to be paired with the Foundation’s dollar-for-dollar match up to $1,000 for each eligible campaign.
